Another quick one.
Australia/New Zealand
In the Hall of the Mountain King has arrived at the Aetherworks warehouse. They are so ready for this. They are going to be working diligently to get your games out the door ASAP. Please don't expect them by Christmas. I think that dream has already passed. But I think it is possible that you might get them by New Years. Fingers crossed!
Canada
I just got word from our Canadian fulfillment partner, D6 Publisher Resources Inc. that your games are on their way to the warehouse just outside of Toronto. They will arrive on the 27th. And depending on the time of day, they promise to get working the second those games hit their floor. They tell me that they will likely have your games out by the 30th. That means you're going to start your new year off on the right foot.
RoW
All other regions of the world are now shipping. Please don't be worried if you haven't gotten any tracking info. You will get it. I will write another update in a few days about what to do if you don't eventually get yours. But please hold tight before you think your game isn't coming. We aren't going to check your tracking now because so many games are still in transit and will be for a while.
Replacement Parts
As with every game being manufactured, we always figure at least 1% of them will have missing components or defects (we printed 10 000 units altogether). Judging by the number of you that have your games already, I think we're going to be well below that. But if your game is missing something or if you have a component that just doesn't look quite right, please do let us know. You can email [email protected] with a detailed list of the components affected, your address (including your phone number), as well as photos of the affected components. We'll get back to you as soon as we can.
**Please note that because of the time of year, there is going to be a bit of a holding pattern on when replacement items will be be shipped. Some of them we don't even have from China yet. So please bear with us while we work this out for you.

While we work through this hectic time, there are a lot of uncertainties. But one thing we are certain of is the amazing support we get from our backers. Of course, we wouldn't be doing any of this if it were not for you, but you also go above and beyond. 11 Days Later --> Your Shipping Update

Hey Trolls,
I am going to make this a quick one.
US
Yes. Your games landed 11 days ago at the port. They had to be released from customs and transported to PSI. At PSI they had to be counted and processed (moved to the proper areas of their warehouse for picking and packing). All of this takes time. Especially if you want to do things right, you have to do it carefully. And that is exactly what PSI is doing. Today they began sending out shipping emails to some backers. They told me that approximately 300 games would go out today. They also said that they are working full time for the next three days to get as many games out as they can. I have been bugging them for more specific details, and I will share with you as soon as I have more information.
Canada
Your games are on their way to Canadian customs. I am still hoping that they are going to arrive in your homes before the end of the year. Fingers crossed. I will keep you updated.
Europe
According to GamesQuest, they are done picking, packing, labelling and sending out games. There are always a few stragglers. But if you don't get an email from them by next week, please let us know and we'll check on things for you. It will take some games longer than others to get to their rightful owners.
Australia/New Zealand
Good news everyone! Your games have landed and are on their way to Aetherworks. They will be sending me updates as they progress. Which means that I will be updating you about it.
Asia/RoW
Well, contrary to what I had originally thought, VFI has just begun packing your games. It seems that they could not find the backer report. Unfortunately everyone is so busy at this time of year, it wasn't caught until last week. But we're up and running and they believe that your games will go out this week.

Every person who has been involved in the process of making that a reality has been working diligently. I personally have spoken with every one of our fulfillment partners almost every day for the last several weeks. We have our hearts in this as much (and maybe even more if that's possible) as you do. ItHoTMK Has Reached Land!

Hey Trolls!
Well, if you are Canadian or American, today is a great day for you. Not only have your games reached the US port in Georgia, but your games have also been released from customs and are on their way to PSI for fulfillment right now!!
If you are in Europe, today is a great day for you as well. Your games too have reached port AND they are being packaged as we speak.
If your games are coming from VFI in Asia, games have already been moving. Please don't worry if you have not received it yet. These are just beginning stages.
If you are in Australia or New Zealand, your games are still on their way to your port.

A Major Announcement
Trolls, you are hearing it here first. We have another game coming to Kickstarter at the end of the winter. Here it is:
The year is 2087. You are a police officer working to take down the criminal syndicates which run the city. Sometimes the best way to make a difference is from the inside. You've been recruited for a new undercover program that will require you to pose as one of the very criminals you're trying to take off the streets.

The Australian Update

Hey Trolls,
Amazing news came in late last night. Aetherworks finally got back to us with some dates. Rather than reiterating, here is the great news from Bret:
The ETA for Hall of the Mountain King to arrive at the docks in Australia is the 12/12/19. The worst case scenario for delivery to the warehouse from the docks is 19/12/19. At the very latest this would be sent out to backers on the 20/12/19. If we received this earlier it will be sent out as soon as possible.
Thank you for alerting us to the communications issue. We take communication quite seriously and this has been raised with the directors of the company.
After investigation we have discovered a series of communication complications between the consolidators and ourselves. This resulted in the delay in shipping.
We sincerely apologise for not keeping you updated on the outcome of the freight scheduling: Processes have been implemented to prevent this happening again.
To alleviate the concerns of backers we are currently informing them via social media that all pledges will be in the post before Christmas.
We knew that we could count on them. You can't just go from being an amazing service to disappearing. So, with that, it looks like everyone's games are going shipping soon!

Shipping Updates

Hey Trolls,
As the time gets closer and closer to your games being delivered to you, you deserve an update. Today we have some great news and some not-so-great news.
Shipping Around the World
The great news is that 95% of the games are on track to land at your region of the world on time. If you are in Asia, the US,Canada, Europe, Africa, the Middle East, South America, or Central America, you'll be happy to know that your games are scheduled to land very soon. I just got word from GamesQuest (Europe) that there is a hold up at the docks and your games will be shipped to GamesQuest about a week late. Luckily all of our ducks are in a row already, and we are pleased to tell you that your games will begin shipping to you during the week of December 15th.
VFI in China (Asia,Middle East, South,Africa, and Central America) has already begun picking and packing your games. That means they should be going out as we speak.
PSI in the US is also ready to receive games. They will land during the first few days of December. They are certain that the games will beginning shipping December 16th. They will send the entire Canadian shipment to Canada first, and then to backers in the US. Since we made this a Canada friendly campaign, we are sending the games to a warehouse here in Canada, and then to backers. You'll likely receive your games about a week or two after backers in the US.
If you are a backer from Australia or New Zealand, this information is for you. We have been using Aetherworks for 5 years for all of our fulfillment needs. They have been more than amazing at getting games out to backers safely and in a timely manner. This time has been different. Your games have been sitting in their Chinese warehouse for a long time already (I just found out about this last week - when your games left the Chinese factory, they had assured me that they were on the next shipment out of China - which was 2 days later). I have been trying to communicate with them over the last two weeks for updates, but they have been silent. They have not responded to any emails I have sent them. So, I am guessing something big is happening there, because I don't believe they would be silent for no reason. I will keep you posted about this info.
In the Hall of the Mountain King at PAX Unplugged
If you are planning on attending PAX U, please don't forget to visit us at booth 3336 (listed as our sibling company Kids Table Board Gaming). We'll be happy to sit down and teach the game to you. Speaking of having ItHotMK at PAX U ... We have had a limited number of copies of the retail version of the game (8 copies, to be exact) shipped to us in advance. We plan to sell this limited number of games at the convention to help us offset the cost of the booth. It isn't going to cover everything, but will help us keep it on the table as a demo throughout the convention. If you are interested in getting a retail version of the game in advance (maybe as a holiday gift), and you are going to PAX U, please direct message us. We will hold on to it for you until the end of Friday. There might also be a chance to add coins and wood as well. First come, first served. But we wanted to open it up to backers before the public.
